Karmen M. Williams, PT Owner
Karmen graduated from Loma Linda University in 1979. She began her career at Pomona Valley Community Medical Center under one of the past Presidents of the American Physical Therapy Association, Charles Magistro. He was a master clinician that became a mentor to Karmen. They remained colleagues and friends until his passing in 2015. While there, she specialized in wound and burn care, cardiac rehab, orthopedics, and sports medicine.
In 1990, Karmen moved to Ventura with her husband and children. She spent 9 years with Pacific Therapy Services under master clinician, Paul Fuerborn. She developed her manual therapy skills under his mentorship, taking courses in the upper quarter, lower quarter, and thoracic spine. They remain colleagues and friends to this day.
In 2000, Karmen formed a partnership with Brian McMahon and Jim Magnusson, Performance Therapy Services. Together, they opened clinics in Camarillo and Oxnard. She spent 9 years with these colleagues, supervising the Functional Capacity and Work Hardening programs, and treating patients. The time came for Karmen to leave her partnership to take care of her mother until her passing in 2010. She inspired her to open her own practice, so in 2011, WILLIAMS PHYSICAL THERAPY, INC was born! Since WPT was formed, she has been able to expand her skills to include treatment of lymphedema, sports performance enhancement, and continues to treat all orthopedic conditions "from head to toe". She has been married to Craig Williams since 1986. Together, they have 3 children, Ronnie, Steven, and Genevieve.
Adrian Rodriguez, BS, PT Aide
Adrian graduated from California State University Chico in 2016. He attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology.
On his spare time Adrian enjoys working out, spending time at the beach with his dog, hiking, and is a swimming enthusiast.
Adrian joined the WPT team in 2017. Adrian has worked alongside of several Physical Therapists in Oxnard and Thousand Oaks. Adrian hopes to continue along the career path of Physical Therapy.
Aimee Pointner, PTA
Aimee graduated from Mesa College in 2007 as a PTA and has been providing therapy primarily in orthopedic Physical Therapy. In addition to a PTA, Aimee is a certified personal trainer and fitness therapy specialist since 2000. In 2019 Aimee completed her Holistic Nutritionist & Health and Wellness Coach Certification.
Aimee grew up in Michigan. She is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family at the beach, boating to the Channel Islands, mountain biking and skiing.
She joined the WPT team in September of 2019. We are thrilled to have her.
She brings many years of experience and masterful manual therapy skills to the clinic.
Tianna Garcia, Office Manager
Tianna graduated from VACE with a certificate in Medical Assisting in 2014. She was born and raised in Ventura, CA. Tianna has worked in both Chiropractic and Therapy offices. She joined the WPT team in 2021 as an Office Manager.
Tianna loves spending time with her family and dogs. Some of her hobbies include: crafting/DIY projects, spontaneous adventures, and traveling. She is married and has two daughters.
